SHERMAN RESIDENT
For whatever reason, it is widely thought that shoppers prefer strip centers to conventional covered shopping malls.Well, here's one person who doesn't. Town Center is so spread out that the average person doesn't care to invest the time and effort to walk from store to store, across parking lots and access roads, to shop. So the center becomes a "destination center", one that isn't conducive to browsing, and therefore promotes 1 stop drive-ups.
Sherman, you failed
This is not a town center. It is a glorified strip mall. Not walkable. The center drive of the parking lot can cause damage to your car at the draining points, yet water still stands after a rain. Shops on the back side leave a lot to desired. No variety or uniqueness like the mall offered. Eating establishments along the service road. A sidewalk along the back side but only extending the backside from a few feet south of Chick-fil-A to a few feet n north of Logan's Roadhouse. Very dangerous walking conditions. I don 't know who designed this or who approved it, but you failed.
Watch your car
On Friday March 29, 2019 between 2:15 and 3:15 pm. My wife stopped in and parked in the parking area in front of Dennard's. Went inside to shop came and her car had been keyed on both sides, $5000 damage. Asked if there were any security camera's in area and no one knew anything. Still looking for who owns the mall just to see if I can get some help.
