The Empire Mall NEEDS to bring back the benches that they had removed years ago when they had remodeled the whole mall to "update" the mall. Many people who have disabilities like myself have hard time walking for a extended periods of time without resting for a while. When they removed the benches out of the mall, they replaced them with low sitting chairs that are hard to get out of, because they sit lower than the benches did. With as big as the Empire Mall is, they did a huge disservice to the general public that shops in the mall, by removing the benches from it. I used to enjoy going to the Empire Mall, walk around & shop there, but after they had "updated" the mall & removed all of the benches out of it, I very rarely go to the Empire Mall. I think since the Empire Mall was "updated" I had been inside of the mall to actually shop is about a handful of times, if that. Because they had removed the benches from inside of the Empire Mall for people to sit down on when the mall was "updated", I haven't had any strong desire to shop there anymore. If management would bring ALL of the benches back into the Empire Mall that they removed when it was "updated", I personally think that more people who have physical disabilities would patronize the Empire Mall more often, including myself.
