Love it! by ,
Living in Columbia, Sandhills is a great place to shop. It is a nice open mall concept and I do recommend it. However, I do agreed that many good shops have been shut down. Overall, a 5/5 stars!!

Sandhills is okay but it would be nice if they were more stores and more easy ways to get jobs there.
This mall was built to fail from its inception. by ,
By far one of the worst planned open mall concepts I've ever encountered. The mall should have never prioritized automobiles from the start. More pedestrian only walking paths from store to store, more green spaces and multi-use areas, and more essential storefronts within the main mall complex would have helped maintain a constant flow of visitors. Can't wait to see it bulldozed for an Amazon distribution center in 10 years or so...
it's ok. by ,
I love sandhills! been living in Columbia for a couple of years and it's a fun place to hang out with your friends. But for the past years, a lot of stores have closed down such as worldmarket, Belk, etc. I really thought this place was going downhill but recently, empty buildings are slowly being filled with new stores and it's slowly getting better.

Been here 3 times in the past month. Stores closing everywhere...restroom facilities either out of order, nasty, or no toilet paper and hand soap!

Really bad experience for a first timer being stationed here and exploring the area. the security guards need to really step up their game as the bathrooms need to be monitored. I was going to change my son until I went to the men's bathroom behind the piano store and turned on the lights and there was a couple in the men's bathroom having sex. they told us to get out so I left with my son. How is this even a family setting and place to walk around. tons of young stupid little kids who dont know any better and disrespectful college students as well. horrible place and I hope this place shuts down sooner than later.
Nice by ,
Yes some stores are gone, but there are a multitude of great stores. Lovely walking around, kind of an old world charm. Good for pedestrians, lots of crosswalks. Traffic has always been ok. They have concerts on Friday night's. Just overall a nice place.

I loved their for nine years and they used to have tons of wonderful places to shop but they have gotten rid of all of the best places there such as wet seal and Aeropostale. The entire place is going downhill.
