Remembering the Original Mall by ,
I remember and lived near the outdoor mall in the 1960s when it was the Cheltenham Shopping Center. Here are several stores from the days of yesteryear. Gimbel's Morville's (men's clothing) Berry's (men's clothing) Bonds (clothing for adults) Florsheim (men’s shoes) Movie theater I left the area in 1970, but remember coming back on occasion in the 1970s. It’s too bad; all of these stores are long gone.

Why can't we have the good stuff like they have in the suburbs? We have money too and tend to spend it more readily than the higher incomers who delay gratification. I agree with some of the other reviews. Lane Bryants, Cosco, TJMax, Ross (with ample inventory- instead of the cheap outdated crap at the Cedarbrook mall) Macy, Clarks, Best buy, Bonefish grill, A Travel Agency, Joanne's Fabric, Auntie Anne's Pretzels and a Movie theater. Give us a reason to spend our money in our neighborhood.

I remember this mall when I was 4 back in 1962 . It had a Gimbols a movie theater that I saw Mary Poppins with my family . A model train shop with brass locomotives on display .It had a center strip green court with a retaining wall that I would run on . It seems everything from my youth is gone. Sad.
Not impressed, not my first choice for shopping by ,
I remember Cheltenham mall from back in the day when I lived in the area. Now I’m back and I didn’t think the new stores were actually “the mall” until my sister told me. I’m not at all impressed or excited to shop at this so called mall so I go to Willow Grove, KOP or the Limerick premium outlets when I want to shop for clothes for me and my daughter.
Homemaker by ,
I thought it would be better when they built the new mall. But it isn’t, suggesting add a Trader Joe’s, dollar tree, take Burlington away and replace with Ross or Sams or Cosco. Do Not put a Buffet here please! Also a easier walk way to Target should have been made! Many walk over to Mall that live near.
Mother of 3 by ,
Not really happy with the "new mall"...so many gaps just empty feels like a ghost town and I was hoping for more upscale stores and stores for larger sized women. I would love to see Macy's, Torrid, The Avenue, Ashely Stewart... Maybe add Trader's Joe to the shopping center or Mini Apple Store something that Apple related I'm glad you added the urgent care that is awesome now we can stay within our community One more restaurant would be nice Iron Hill Brewery / Olive Gardens / Animo Juice and Burrito Bar Bowling Alley? Something for family fun... Black-owned businesses would be a huge plus +++
Santa Project by ,
We are wondering if the Harrison’s Studios coming back to do the Santa Project for Christmas.
WE can do better for our neighborhood! Keep trying by ,
Good start but I agree with many commenters, the neighborhood could use and can support so many more, Michael's, staples, Apple store, and so many suggested above, there is plenty of room and lots of hard working people who do not want to run to Willow grove and G-d help me never to King of Prussia. And yes, trader Joes would be amazing.
Movie Theater by ,
I thought there would be a movie theater in the new mall, Is that still possible?
Educator by ,
not impressed by the store lined up, all of these stores are cheap with cheap items, but then I guess it's good economically for the population that lives in that area. I guess I'll continue to go to Willow Grove Mall, Cherry Hill Mall, King of Prussia Mall. l so many other malls have a better merchant selection.
Ms. by ,
I am in my 30’s professional woman I get what the critics are saying on here regarding the new stores. I also understand the process it takes to get a lease signed with a reputable retail establishment. What I think the public is asking from this area of Harding working families, We would appreciate some higher end Retail shoppes. Such as Nordstrom’s Rack, Zara, H&M, Gap, Trader Joe’s would be great, Apple store etc. Please make some recommendations I know they are skeptical at the end of the day we have to shop the store we are asking for they are not going to place a store there to fail
Disappointed by ,
The new list of stores is disappointing to say the least. :-( I guess I'll keep going to Willow Grove Mall.
TIME FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT by ,
YES A LAYNE BRYANTS A CATHERINES A TORRID AND MOST DEFINATELY A CHIPOLTE MEXICAN GRILL. A BIBLE BOOK STORE. A UNIFORM STORE FOR HEALTHCARE AND RESTAURANT STAFF. A BARNS AND NOBLE
I am excited for this new outside mall by ,
I see that other reviewers are upset because no Macy’s or other higher end stores are involved. For me , I don’t care ! I don’t want a bunch of clothing stores ! Fashion isn’t my style , I’m excited to have a GameStop , auntie Anne’s pretzels , hot topic , and some other stores on the list! I hope a movie theater is involved , but I guess not .... I mean sure , some stores could be replaced with a better one , but I’m just happy that this place is getting a new style . :D the people that want the high end fashion stores must be a little older than me , I’m 21 with no interest in fashion or bags . Old navy is fine by me !
Renovation Cheltenham Mall by ,
I agree with Y. R. Williams nothing new or upscale. I did see Marshalls and Old Navy but they were not on the list, but not really upscale. Even discount stores like the Rack, Off 5th Ave and others, would have been a change Seem like the same old same old.
Renovation Cheltenham Mall by ,
I've just looked through the coming stores and I see that this new mall is no better than it's predecessor. What about stores like Macys, White House Black Market, Disney Store, a few nice dress shops, Lane Bryant's, Aeropostale, Anne Taylor, Brighton, Bose, Clarks, Cole Hann, some upscale leather store. How about something other than Sneakers, Hair, Conway (which by the way is trash), Rainbow, Anna's Linens, Dollar Stores. I mean Gee I thought that you were trying to bring in some more upscale clientele, not just the same old people from the hood. I really don't see this a any better than before.
