18 Ryan shopping center is an open-air retail center with grocery, shopper-favored retailers, services and restaurants in Sterling Heights, Michigan. It is located at 40940-50752 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, MI, 483101, near the intersection of 18 Mile Road and Ryan Road. The shopping center is open from 6:00 am to 12:00 am every day. The shopping center has a long history dating back to 1973, when it opened as a strip mall anchored by Farmer Jack and Kmart. It also featured other stores such as Arbor Drugs, Radio Shack, and Fashion Bug. In 1995, the shopping center was renovated and expanded with a new facade and additional tenants. In 2004, Kmart closed its store and was replaced by Planet Fitness and Dollar Tree. In 2007, Farmer Jack also closed its store and was replaced by Dream Market, a Middle Eastern grocery store. The shopping center is owned by Brixmor Property Group, a property management company that specializes in commercial real estate across the US. The company acquired the shopping center in 2011 and has been leasing the spaces to various tenants. Some of the current tenants include Dream Market, Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Great Clips, Jet’s Pizza, Wendy’s, and Juice Time & Papa Kunafa.
