Oxmoor Center is a regional shopping mall located in Louisville, Kentucky. It opened in 1971 and was developed by Stewart Dry Goods, a local department store chain. The mall is located on Shelbyville Road, near the intersection of Interstate 264 and Interstate 642. The mall has been expanded and renovated several times, adding new stores, services, and attractions. Oxmoor Center is currently owned by Brookfield Properties, a global real estate company based in New York. Oxmoor Center features over 62 stores and services, offering a variety of products and categories. Some of the major retailers include Apple, Dillard’s, H&M, JCPenney, Macy’s. Oxmoor Center offers a range of dining options for shoppers and visitors. In addition to the food court, the mall has several restaurants and cafes located throughout the center. Some of them include BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery, California Pizza Kitchen, The Capital Grille, Starbucks Coffee, Subway. You can also find some local favorites, such as Bourbon Creek, Condado Tacos, Jojo Gyros, and The Eagle. Oxmoor Center is open seven days a week. The general hours are Monday to Thursday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sunday from noon pm to 6:00 pm. Oxmoor Center has plenty of parking spaces for visitors. There are four parking garages located near Dillard’s Men’s Store & Home Furnishings Store (Garage A), Dillard’s Women’s Store (Garage B), Macy’s (Garage C), and JCPenney (Garage D). There are also surface parking lots throughout the center. Parking is free for all visitors. Oxmoor Center is accessible by public transport via the Transit Authority of River City (TARC) bus. There are two bus stops near the mall: one on Shelbyville Road near Macy’s (Stop ID: 1000) and one on Oxmoor Lane near JCPenney (Stop ID: 1001).
