Georgetown Park (The Shops at Georgetown Park) is a mixed-use shopping mall and condominium complex in the Georgetown historic district of Washington, D.C. It is located at 3222 M Street, NW, between Georgetown’s two main streets and the historic C&O Canal. It offers a variety of specialty retail, fashion, and restaurant space in the heart of an urban environment. The history of Georgetown Park dates back to 1851, when the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company built a flour mill on the site. The mill was later converted into a tobacco warehouse and then a stable for horses and carriages. In 1978, the Western Development Corporation acquired the property and transformed it into a shopping mall that opened in 1981. The mall was designed to preserve the historic character of the area, featuring brick facades, wrought iron railings, skylights and fountains. In 2010, the mall was foreclosed and sold to Vornado Realty Trust, which planned to redevelop it into a high-end retail destination. However, the project was delayed due to legal disputes and financial troubles. In 2014, Jamestown Properties bought the mall for $272.5 million and completed an extensive $80 million renovation that completely changed the layout of the mall. The renovation opened up the mall to the street, creating dedicated frontage for retailers on both M Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The renovation also added new tenants, such as Anthropologie & Co., H&M, J.Crew, TJ Maxx and Pinstripes.

The opening hours of the shopping center vary by location, but generally they are open from Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The parking garage, with its 668 spaces, is open 24 hours and is the largest in Georgetown. There are two entrances, one on Potomac Street and one on Wisconsin Avenue. The rates are $11 for one hour, $16 for two hours. Alternatively, visitors can take public transportation to get to the shopping center. The closest Metro station is Foggy Bottom-GWU on the Blue/Orange/Silver lines, which is about a 15-minute walk away. There are also several bus routes that stop near the shopping center, such as the DC Circulator Bus using the Georgetown/Union Station or the Rosslyn/Georgetown/Dupont Circle lines.
