CityCenterDC is a vibrant neighborhood development in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C., where you can enjoy a mix of shopping, dining, entertainment and living. CityCenterDC is located at 825 10th Street NW, Washington, DC, 20001, between New York Avenue and H Street, and 9th and 11th Streets. It covers more than five city blocks and encompasses 2 million square feet of space. The site was formerly occupied by the old Washington Convention Center, which was demolished in 2004. The development of CityCenterDC began in 2008 and was completed in 2015. It was designed by Foster + Partners, an internationally renowned architecture firm and developed by Hines and Qatari Diar, two leading real estate companies. CityCenterDC is one of the largest urban redevelopment projects in the United States and has won several awards for its design, sustainability and innovation. CityCenterDC is owned by a joint venture between Hines, Qatari Diar, and D.C. government.
