Let's just figure it out and decide, stay open or close it already. It is a waste of good space that could be used for more stores that we could be spending our $$. It's time....
the old macys mens building by ,
to the owners of the Macys mens store, I know the building is empty but there are weeds in the planter areas near the building and the doors windows are broken
Catastrophic mistake from Day 1 by ,
"SIMI" is a Chumash Indian word for "windy", as in it's very windy here. It also gets very hot here. We also have a cold and rainy season. With all the extremes in weather, Simi Valley Town Center was doomed to fail the minute someone decided to make it an outdoor shopping center. We would have done better with an indoor mall! People would rather drive to Northridge or Thousand Oaks to shop than to endure walking in the heat, or wind, or cold, or rain. I don't think it has ever been it at 100% occupancy, and it seems more places are leaving than are coming in.
