My boyfriend tried to buy an engagement ring from Zales at The Streets of Southpoint Mall last weekend, and paid for a real diamond and was given a FAKE diamond. Not only that, but the stone was visibly crooked, and not secured by all 4 prongs. Lastly, one of the employees proceeded to hit on him, and complained about having to drive an hour and a half to pick the ring up for him. Terrible service leading to the ring being delivered, and if you have purchased a ring from them, I suggest you go get the it appraised, and make sure you actually have a real diamond. The other jeweler told him the ring was only worth about $300-$500 and he paid over $1,500 for it. Be careful, don’t let them scam you out of your money!!
