My daughter and I went to the Village Bakery in Eastview mall for lunch last week. My first impression was that it was dirty. I have been to the Webster site many times and it is meticulously clean and the food is excellent there! This one, not so much. I was reluctant to stay but my daughter was hungry and wanted a bite to eat. After we ordered and were paying for our food we saw 2 small insects crawling on the croissants in the pastry case. We brought it to the cashier’s attention and she removed them. I ordered a salad with chicken and there was very little chicken on it and the presentation was not appealing at all. The greens weren’t fresh. Such a difference from the Village Bakery in Webster I couldn’t believe it! I will continue to go to the one in Webster but I will never go the one in the mall again! I don’t even know why I gave it 1 star! Such a disappointment!!!!
