On Feb 24th I went into the Verizon Store in Stuyvesant Plaza, and was assisted by Nate Washburn. My daughter wanted to trade in her I phone for an upgraded model. Nate had had difficulty finding our account, but told me that since the phone was in such great condition, we could trade the phone in and she would have money left over for a case and other costs. I gave him my card to figure out the costs , but specifically said I do not want to spend a lot of money and need to have a price before my card is charged. I gave him my address and once again said I do not want my card used tied to that address. Turns out we could not do the transaction because of account difficulties. The next day I noticed my card was charged $270.80,without anything being signed or any authorizations. I called Nate and said I wanted my money back and this was not authorized. He was very coy about it and said " I will see what I can do" He said I authorized it, which I did not. My mom, daughter and I went in to talk to Nate. He had a customer, and he continually avoided us and took other customers before us, even told us to come back Monday. He also said the charges could not be reversed. We got the charges reversed through the customer care, but my account is overdrawn and I will get extra charges. Nate proceeded to tell us to "Get out of the store" Poor customer service and disgusting attitude. He was not the least sympathetic about my situation.
