Tip Top Tux - Omaha, Nebraska 68114 - Westroads Mall

I am extremely disappointed in the service and lack of knowledge by the staff at Tip Top Tux in Omaha by Westroads mall. We purchased 5 vests for our destination wedding coming up in March and were told they would arrive in 2 weeks. 2 weeks comes and goes and nothing so I call, they can't find the order and whoever answered the phone says "well I don't really know I don't normally work here someone else will have to deal with this" Finally get ahold of someone who can give me some answers after a couple days and they say oh there was a delay they will all be in next week. Finally they came in and only one of our guys received a call stating they were in prompting me to check on the other 4. I called and was told all 5 were in no problem. I go and pick them up and the grooms is missing. The girl working says "oh it wasn't even ordered. Let me talk to the manager tomorrow and she will give you a call" I explain when it was ordered and paid for and she is magically able to find the order and notices it hasn't been shipped. Again, she promises me the manager will follow up with me the following day to try and figure out what happened and when the vest is going to be in and the sales associate even promises us she will call herself to ensure we were contacted by a manager and that everything is worked out. No one calls. Again. This time I call and no one even answers the store phone 3 different attempts. This leads me to contact the corporate office who has the district manager contact me. The district manager calls a few hours later and explains everything is worked out, the vest is shipping and will be delivered tuesday of the following week. She calls as promised and my FH and I go in to pick up his vest on Wednesday. They pull the vest out of the bag and it is not the vest we ordered. Wrong brand, wrong cut, wrong style-not even close! Also-the vest is a rental and not a purchase when we clearly have purchased these vests. The girl then informs us they don't even make the vest we ordered in the color needed. Of course the manager isn't working and "she will call you" . Well somehow I am not holding my breath for that to happen.... This whole incident caused us to more closely examine the other vests in our possession and you guessed it? THEY ARE WRONG ALSO! The two grooms mens vests are different colors and not the color we ordered either. One is a purple ish color, one is black. That is NOT navy blue. Moral of the story- DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. This place is a joke for suit rentals or purchasing, communication is more than awful and adds so much stress to an already stressful time of planning a wedding!
