Things Remembered - Amarillo, Texas 79121 - Westgate Mall Amarillo

I have come to this mall my entire life. This mall has always sucked but yesterday they reached a whole new level. This COVID crap is literally causing depression and suicide. Sadness and worry isn’t just for adults these days it is now effecting our children. I took my kids to the mall and they BEGGED me to play at the mall playground. Kids these days don’t get to have a lot of fun so I gave in. We were there for 10 min before mall security told us not just to get out of the playground but that we “have to go home”. He walked with us across the mall as we were being watched through security cameras. He escorted us OUT THE DOOR. Then a security truck watched us as we got in our car and then FOLLOWED US out of the mall vicinity. All because my kids wanted to play. Are we sick? No. We’re they being dangerous or causing others harm? No. All these idiots who run the mall are doing is controlling other people and LOSING MONEY. I’m not blaming the mall security , I’m blaming mall “management”. Get a life and let other people get on with theirs. There’s PLENTY of places to shop without having to go through you to spend my money.
