Notary Services
They didn’t want to notarize a document because it had my initials on the signature field. My document did not have a jurat, but even if it had it, I would have only been required to attest that the initials were written by me, and sign the document. It seems that the gentleman in charge of notarizing documents at this specific UPS Store doesn’t have experience, training or knowledge whatsoever regarding notary laws. This happened on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 before noon. My bank later notarized my document after I signed it in their presence next to my initials.
