The Grooming Lounge - Concord, North Carolina NC 28027 - Concord Mills

Not speaking for all the barbers, some may be great, but the older, light-skinned guy with gold shoes cut my sons hair in 4 minutes and turned out AWFUL. He was obviously in a huge hurry but it was 2 hours before closing time with no wait. Completely ignored what we asked him to do and buzzed the sides, didn’t even blend it (I had emphasized NOT TOO SHORT on the sides and even showed him an example pic that he GLANCED at). Was really rough and had a terrible attitude. This idiot got super defensive when I started pointing these things out, but even the other barbers agreed with me. Didn’t even cut all the neck hair off, had to do it myself once we got home. Left the sheet super loose and hair is all down his shirt. Blew the hair compressor right in my sons ear at the end, probably out of spite. My son told me this after we left, otherwise things would’ve gotten ugly if I’d realized while we were still there. I’ve had good experience at the Northlake location, but STAY AWAY from the older guy that looks like Lord Jamar at the Concord Mills location. I wouldn’t let him cut my dogs hair after tonight.
