The Fix - Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110 - Coronado Center

Do NOT take your devices to be "fixed" to The Fix. I took my Galaxy S8+ to have the front screen replaced due to a minor cracked screen. They replaced it and as I was unlocking my phone with the eye recognition I noticed it was very blurry. So I unlocked it and turned on my self facing camera and noticed it was not focusing and when it did focus there were blurry edges. I took it right back to the tech and she took the new screen off and cleaned the lens. It did not fix the issue. She then tried to say that it must be a setting on the camera. We checked all of the settings and nothing would correct the issue. I let her know that I was concerned because this was not a "pre-existing" issue and that something done while she was repairing the screen caused the camera to malfunction. She stated that she did nothing to the camera and did not even touch that area. I told her that I understood that but that something she had done caused this issue. I asked what they do in these types of situations. She said she could try a new part for $20 more. I told her that I had just paid her $250 to fix the screen and now my camera is not working and that I was not going to pay her more money. She then said there was nothing else we could but talk to the manager on Monday. I got the manager's name and asked her to give him a heads up that I would be coming in Monday to see what could be done to address the issue. When I got home I plugged my phone into its charger and it would not charge! I tried my husband's charger and even my brother in law's charger. No dice. It would not charge. Now.... I am without my phone, as they are sending it to another tech. They are lending me a phone for a week while they try and figure the issues out. I am very frustrated and upset. I hope they give me some money, if not all, back for this. Again, DO NOT take your devices to this place. Got way more than I bargained for and am not sure it will be made right by management.
