Taco Bell - Orlando, Florida FL 32809 - The Florida Mall

I visited this location a week ago while on vacation for holidays. My other family members decided to go somewhere else to eat in the food court. I choose Taco Bell. I ordered my food with a friendly female cashier, who fixed my drink. As I was waiting, I noticed people that had ordered after me, getting their food. Still, I was being patient, afterall it's the holidays. After 10 minutes, I asked the guy handing out food if mine was about to be ready (by the way, several times just calling out names and handing bags to wrong people because he wasn't looking in the bags after calling names. At some point, I noticed what might look like my food but I don't know because I don't work there!!!). He asked what I ordered and said, "he got me". I wait another 5 minutes, then tell him that if it's not being made, please cancel my order. Also, told him I thought I seen what looked like my order but someone else grabbed it when he called her name. He said, "why didn't you say anything?" Again, I don't work here!! How would I know!?! He goes back to the left side of kitchen and tells the lady expediting what the issue is, this time where I clearly see he does. She's asked me, "what did you order and where is your receipt?" My receipt was behind the cups, that was behind the register. After ordering it fell so I just left it there. I told her where it was and she didn't grab it. She said, sternly "your food is almost ready." I said, "really at this point I just want my money back." She made it clear I was getting my food. At this point, we are 20 minutes in. The rest of my family was almost done eating. I wait another five minutes and no food. This time I told the female expeditor on left that I demand my money back! A lady from the right side of the kitchen, I'm assuming the manger comes out and says "what's your problem here?" I explain to her how long I've waited and just at this point I want my money back! She asked me for a receipt, I told her where it was. She asked, "why is it over there!" Really?? What does it matter at this point, just grab it and look. Anyhow, after a 10 seconds of explaining why, she grabs it and says is your order " tostada and what sounded something like about 'potatoes"? I had a tostada but idk what the potatoes is, she said I can't give your your money back without receipt. I asked her can I look at the receipt, she said, "what exactly did you have on your order?" I told her again and she said yea this is your receipt but your food is almost ready!" By the way another five minutes goes by and my food isn't even in a bag. I made it clear again, I just want my money back!! My drink was on the counter, I had my hand on it but not a grip. She snatches the cup away from me (grazing my hand btw) throws it in the trash!!! WTF JUST HAPPENED HERE?!?!(normally, I wouldn't cuss on a review but really, wtf did she just do!?!) I said, "that was rude!" She states, "well, you wanted a refund, right!?! I made it very clear by choice words that was unacceptable!! What should have happened because I waited over 25 minutes and because it was such and issue....I should have left there with my food, my money given back to me and my drink refilled! Or I would have accepted just my money back, no food and to not have my drink snatched from me!! I worked in the food industry for over 25 years!! This is unacceptable!! The woman who snatched my drink to trash it, be glad my kids were there and your not worth jail time! Walking away from that counter with tears in my eyes because I was so mad and praying to GOD he give me the strength to just keep walking was definitely his grace working. I'm not even a believer! This particular Taco Bell should be ashamed that they allow someone like you to represent their corporation in any type of manner. I did call corporate and trust me, my little two five dollar coupons aren't worth the fact you snatched a drink from me and by doing so, touching me. I will be contacting the general manager/area manager as well. Probably, nothing will be done to you but I believe in karma.?
