Super Stop & Shop - Yonkers, New York 10704 - Cross County Shopping Center

After 16 years and spending close to a $1000 a month I am delighted to be leaving your store. Today was the final straw. At around 2pm to day did my weeks shop which came to $225. The first cashier went to bathroom and took her phone the next lady checked out 5 items and left and the next lady started on mine. No hello , how are you , but I must say I have become accustomed to the staff been rude for the last year. At the end of the transaction I said I could not find a flyer and did she have one. Her manner was like I had asked her for her job. I in return said forget it and her reply was I had a bad manner. In which I replied that she had not even asked me for the amount due , Just stood there with a blank look and said nothing. Are we to guess how much we owe. She also said that I never said thank you for helping to bag 3 bags of my shopping. I said is that not your job and that I did not appreciate her manner towards me. she in return said that I came into the store with a bad a view. I said how would you know , did you see me come in and did she know me. Now this reply just shocked me. I said she should treat people with more respect to which she replied "SHE DID NOT CARE IF I CAME IN TO STOP N SHOP OR NOT IT WAS NOT HER STORE AND COULD NOT CARE LESS IF I NEVER CAME BACK.' UNREAL. I was so up set that I approached the male manager who was standing there and re told the story. HE JUST SAID SORRY AND JUST DISMISSED ME LIKE A CHILD. Can you believe that. Is my money worth nothing in your store, well now I shall be shopping at Acme for my weekly shop from now on. Please take my advice and re train your staff on having manners and respecting who is keeping you in a job. With out my loyalty all these years some of theses women would not have a job. Your manager needs to be sent on a course on how to deal with staff and customers. Good bye Stop n Shop I wish you well but you shall never see a penny of my hard earned money again.
