Stop & Shop - Bronx, New York 10475 - Bay Plaza Shopping Center

I had been shopping at this store for years. When I have a few items and there are no people in line I go to pay at the returns front desk. I had no problem before I had fined polite people and I was able to pay for my items with no problem until the bad experience I encountered yesterday. At about 4 pm I observed there was no line on the check out counter. I went to pay for 5 items I had with me especially fresh fish. I went to the desk and put the items on the counter. there were two young black girls chatting I asked her if she could check my items. she pointed at a young black man who was chatting at the other corner with someone I definitely sure she was not a shopper she had fo items with her. I asked him he was able to check my items. He came to me and pointed the check out your self-register and went back to continue chatting with the same person. At that point, i asked to speak with the supervisor. I observed a man when to talk with the clerk. after a few minutes, I asked again. Did you call the supervisor? the man said I am the supervisor. Did I observe his tag his name MICKOL WINPOD? isnted in checking me out with my items on the counter he started telling me that that counter is not a check out for food is a return desk. At that point, there were more people in the line the supervisor is telling me that I have to go at the end of the line if I need to check out. I told him I was here and there was no line and I told him I am the first in line. He continue to argue with me and at that point, I had to leave disappointed and go to another supermarket. so disappointed with the service I received yesterday at STOP AND SHOOP SUPERMARKET AT BARTOW AVE BAY PLAZA. I think those 4 individuals need some training in customer service. S[PECIALLY THE SUPERVISOR. instead of arguing with the costomer he could have gone behind the desk and check my items but instead, he started to argue and refuse to check my food items. too bad these individuals give a bad name to the good people who do want to work
