Soft Surroundings - Annapolis, Maryland 21401 - Westfield Annapolis Mall

I was surprised to find such limited stock and such a small store, with such outrageous prices. I was enticed by the catalogue photos, so I drove 1 hour to see for myself. What I thought was a big fluffy reindeer comforter turned out to be a duvet cover with the thinness of a sheet, but the price of a comforter and the shams were not even included. Sales associates are not familiar with their own merchandise, nor the pricing. For the small size of the store, there was a large number of sales associates and cashiers standing around waiting for customers to come in and shop. In 30 minutes after lunchtime, I didn't see a single person aside from myself even enter the store. Apparently, price gouging doesn't pay off with the competitive pricing and sales on bedding sets at Macy's, JC Penney's, Amazon, Kohl's, Wayfair, and many other stores. I didn't see a fraction of the items in the store that I saw online and in their catalog. There is a discrepancy between the prices and the quality. If the prices weren't so outrageous, I would have bought a few things. You know something is wrong when there are more sales people than customers. I was practically jumped when I entered the store. This store needs a serious reality check.
