Today I went into Sydney Thomas where I was greeted by mrs.Sharon she was very kind just for starters but that’s normal many people are kind but what blew me away was her interest in assisting me although she knew I might not be making a purchase today she still was interested on helping me look over several different time pieces from different brands she was very informative and made me feel special she was kind I will shop with her I love her

I have visited Sidney Thomas at Christiana twice so far. My first experience was decent, but my today's visit is reason enough to take my business elsewhere and to not go back. Today I was inquiring about three different omega speedmaster models, the speedy pro hesalite, the speedy pro sapphire and the First Omega in Space. The hesalite vs sapphire debate is a long one concerning the herritage of the Speedy and before I made any decision I wanted to be sure I get the watch that appeals to me most. So, after comparing the watches for less that 2 mins, the sales rep told me "they are not that different you know." This sounded a bit off at first, as if I was rushed to put them down and stop looking at the watches. But I didnt pay that much attention. I then inquired about the price of the models. The sales rep was a bit (negatively) suprised that I wanted a price for all three models, as if I had to set for one right then and there. After a while she does come back with a piece of paper and the prices (I still think that at the time she thought she was doing me a favor....). From my perspective it goes without saying that before spending 6k at an omega boutique I want to think about it for a bit. So I ask her if I can take the written offers with me to contemplate on the purchace a bit before I make my mind. She then says, "This [piece of paper] stays where it is!." She could have said, "I am sorry, I am afraid you cant take this with you" or figure out a lie and say "Omega does not allow us to shave off the price of its models, so you cant take this with you" something that would indicate manners, quality customer service, something that would show that they respect me as a customer. But she didnt. Well, she does not do her job well thats for sure. So, was what the sales rep did horrible? No. Does it indicate that they know how to treat potential buyers? No. Does it want to make me spend my hard-earned money there? Not at all. I can actually drive a bit more and go to a different Omega Boutique where they would show their respect to convince me to spend my momey there. So guess what, thats what I ve done as soon as I left. I am not returning to Sidney Thomas even for Omega accessories. There are better places to spend my money, sorry.
