I always have a hard time buying for my husband but Josiah and the guys at Shinobi went WAY above and beyond to help me out. Now for the return test? My husband decided to keep ALL of what I bought for him and actually WEARS the clothes I bought for him - I wish I could tell you how big of a deal this is.

You get a couple crazies who don’t get their way and scream about it online - Shinobi has the most genuine team I’ve met in a long time shopping in OC and LA. They treated me and my wife like family with no pressure to buy at all. Before you listen to these other Karens on this site, go in and see for yourself.

Astonishingly poor customer service, to the point of being insulting in a way I’ve never experienced in over 25 years of shopping high-end boutiques and stores all across LA and OC. In one case, a bungled return nearly ended up costing me more than $200, in the other the sales associate treated me like nothing more than a suspect of some type when I had another return - of brand new merchandise that had never even been removed from the shopping bag! He examined every stitch, SMELLED the clothes, went into the back and left me waiting for 10 minutes, and told me ‘well, it’s just that you made a return before’ - so what?? I was within the stated return period and within my rights as a consumer. He finally, reluctantly, made my return - let’s see if the money really goes back into the bank this time. Like nothing I’ve experienced before and doubt I ever will again, and certainly not in this store which I will NEVER step foot in again. Head to Nordstrom or another store instead, they’ll have better prices, superior customer service, and you’ll be treated like you deserve. Unbelievable and unacceptable - steer clear!!!!

We ordered a pair of Jeans because they did not have my husband's size on 12/30/20 and we were NOT told you cannot return them. we were told that they will email and call us once they get the jeans. Of course never received a call so I called and had to talk to Aaron and Noha to find out about our order. Noha said OH there was a problem with the order we will call in in 2 days. Never received a call. So I called again after 5 Days and wanted to return the jeans that we never got, they said OH this was a special order and cannot be returned!!! I asked where do you have your return policy obviously is not on the receipt and he responded on the door. Then he said oh we have your order here. keep in mind we ordered this on 12/30/20 and I picked them on 01/19/21 and there was no sign of if "we don't have your size and we place an order that will be SPECIAL order and you cannot return them.. HORRIBLE service and on top of that I could have bought the very same Jeans for $96.00 at Nordstrom which would have received them in 2 days. We paid $230.00 just because we wanted the local shop to have our business, what a BIG mistake on my part and that will NEVER happen again.
