Before going to Pure Life I was dealing with back pain daily. I love to play golf and because of the back pain I couldn't play. I have had Fibromyalgia and Migraine for over 22 years, and in the past 10 years I have been having issues with my spine going out of alignment within just a few hours of having an adjustment. It did not seem to matter if I was standing all day or sitting. Eventually the pain became so bad that I truly questioned whether I could keep working. I have been to MANY different chiropractors in the past 22 years but rarely found long-term relief. When I met Dr. Lina at an event, she did a quick scan of my spine and could show me on her computer exactly where my back was hurting without me saying a word. For the first time ever I had definitive proof that I was in pain. I finally had someone who not only believed I was in pain but also knew how to fix it. During my first office visit, I initially became overwhelmed with the treatment plan Dr. Lina suggested because I "knew" I could not afford it. However, I was wrong. Dr. Lina was able to submit to my insurance company, who paid more than either of us thought, and the remainder was made extremely affordable by a plan that Dr. Lina put together for me. She works with all budgets. Ironically, my body responded to the treatment exactly the way Dr. Lina predicted and I have rarely had to veer from my plan. I can now go at LEAST two weeks without an adjustment and most of the time my biweekly adjustments (which are soon to become every three weeks) are only for maintaince. I rarely have Fibromyalgia pain or Migraine, but if I do, I simply change my already scheduled appointment (with their awesome scheduling app that lets me have complete control over my appointments) and pop in to see Dr. Lina. By the time I leave, most of my pain is gone. Dr. Lina is sweet and kind and gentle in her approach...but don't let that fool you. I still have to ice my back later in the day after an adjustment but there is no pain or need for icing the next day. She is extremely caring and always asks if I need her to be more or less gentle based on the pain I am having and whether I have time to ice later. Over the past few months, I have learned to always tell Dr. Lina about things that are causing me pain or making me feel sick because sometimes adjusting your spine, neck, or hips can help things you did not even know were possible. For example, I mentioned I was having worse allergies than ever before and it was causing me to have a lot of painful sinus pressure that Musinex was not even helping. Dr. Lina did a quick adjustment on my neck. By the time I got to my car, my nose started running as if I had taken a huge dose of antihistamine. Within 30 minutes, my sinus pressure was completely gone and I was breathing better than I had in weeks. Dr. Lina and Dr. Moses are young chiropractors who are highly educated, up on the latest methods, and super smart. At the time of this writing, they are both on their way to San Francisco because they are going to be speakers at a conference. The best part is that they will share their expert knowledge of healing with their clients for no extra charge! Honestly, I will never go to any other chiropractor again.
