Narwhal Gifts - Bluffton, South Carolina SC 29910 - Tanger Outlets Hilton Head

My fiance and I entered Narwahl Gifts in the Tanger Outlet 2 of bluffton SC around 12 AM today. Prior to our vacation arrival we understood the COVID rules had been removed in SC. We saw many people at the outlet without face masks, and a handful with. We traveled through a few other stores, before making our way to Narwahl Gifts. We entered through the doors and a gentleman behind the counter politely greeted us, while a woman stood in front of the counter with a mask on. She quickly snapped, where are your masks. Taken back by her approach, my fiance who is a big man with tattoos ( hes a pro body builder, and tattoo model) went to explain we were on vacation and simply didnt realize that individual places were still following that procedure . She instantly snapped, just because your on vacation doesn't mean the virus has stopped. Floored by her response, we had no interest to be where we were not welcome, regardless of the fact that they were giving out masks. ( she tells us this after she had insulted us) I'm assuming the lady just didnt like people that didnt fit her standards of the way a person should look. I tried to call the owner, only to lose signal and not be able to get her on the phone again to explain the reason for my review, instead I was forwarded to another number.im not sure if she supports this time of behavior but I can tell you that they wont make it very long with customer service representatives like that and I sure hope it wasnt her who portrayed this rude behavior. In conclusion: dont visit this location if you dont want to be discriminated on your vacation!
