my husband purchased a pair of UGG Cozy Double Diamond slippers for me as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, the second I put my foot into the slipper I knew they we fake. I did quite a bit of research on how to identify a fake UGG, and sure enough I had a pair. Red flags they're fake - The box was a plain white shoe box and not the signature UGG box, No tag in the left shoe with the authentic hallogram, in fact the slippers did not have any tags inside to mark the size, the bottom of the shoe only had a fake logo with UGG and not the word Australia under UGG and the the fur was scratchy and itchy. The manager was a complete jerk and demanded I have the white box to return my slippers. I offered to buy a box but he would not have that. Problem is, as I mentioned real UGGs only come in the unique UGG box. I had my receipt showing they were purchased within 30 days and clearly they had never been worn. This store was in Laguna Hills mall and has been closed due to selling counterfeit UGGS and has now moved to The Shops at Mission Viejo. They called security on us as the manager said we were out of line, well the security guard was on our side and tried to reason with the store manager...Security has their eye on this very shady store.
