Micabella - Elmhurst, New York 11373 - Queens Center

I'm not sure what other employees experienced working here but it is like night and day from my experience in NY Queens center mall. Even though its been years I felt like I needed to leave a review. We had the "owner/manager" of the booth who had us open the booth every morning since she was always late. I has one other "co-worker" who basically harassed customers into stopping at the booth and suggested I do the same. But more importantly I wasn't paid until I sold something. And even that was a commission of the price... from what I remember maybe 5%. There were many days that I worked 8hours and went home feeling like a fool because I knew I didn't make a dime for that day. This was maybe my 2nd work experience and taught me how to harass people walking by to get them to stop but mostly showed me how a "company" could fraud someone out of pay. I'm pretty sure what they did was not legal.
