Metro Barber School - Albuquerque, New Mexico 87114 - Cottonwood Mall

I had the worst experience I have ever had at the Cottonwood Mall location in New Mexico. We stopped by to get my four-year-old son's and also my husband's hair cut. When we walked in the girl was in a rush. My son was excited to sit in the kid's chair there but she would not allow him to. While cutting his hair she continued to check her apple watch as if we were an inconvenience... She finished my son's hair and we walked to the front of the store. I asked my husband if he was ready for his cut and she ignored me and walked straight to the cash register and told us the total. I asked again if he was going to get his cut and she rudely just gave us the total for my sons cut and continued to check her apple watch. We paid for it and we started to walk out. My six-year-old daughter turned around and said " bye thank you!" super loud and excited and the woman at this point was on her phone texting away. My daughter had to say bye again and wave before she would even look up and wave bye to her. Once we got home I gave my son a bath and once I dried his hair and looked at it, it was HORRIBLE!! It looked like she put a bowl on my son's head and just cut around it blindly. It literally looks like Edward scissor hands went to town on my son's head. Thank goodness he is only 4 and his hair will grow back, but that woman needs to be fired. There was no " HI WELCOME!" when we entered, we felt rushed and like we were ruining her day by having her cut my sons hair, and she obviously didn't want to do her job and cut another person's hair when my husband and I kept stating we needed his done as well. She was more worried about what her apple watch was saying and when she could get back to her phone to message someone. There was not even a Thank you or a bye from her. The transaction process was dead silent. It was a joke.
