Macy's - Durham, North Carolina 27713 - The Streets at Southpoint

I was just in the Macy’s at the streets of Southpoint in Durham NC on 2/23/21. I went into the ladies bathroom in the men’s section of the store. It was filthy. This is Covid times. It’s imperative that extra attention is needed for public areas. As I walked out of the bathroom i started to look around. The carpet was also filthy/old in the areas where you enter the bathroom. As I walked around the men’s area looking at clothes i noticed the carpet was dirty/old, trash on the floor; just in need of replacement. You want us to continue shopping in your stores then let us know you care about us. Covid or not there is no reason your stores are not kept up. I told one of your sales persons about the bathroom. She said she would let someone know but didn’t seem too concerned. I was really really disappointed. You’re a big store chain. Thanks.

I was very disappointed by the disarray in the Woman’s Clothing dept at your Southpoint Store in Durham, NC. Clothes were falling off the racks and piled several layers high on other racks, clothes were left and stored in the dressing rooms and the sales racks were so packed in-it was difficult to browse through them, and sizes were all askew on the racks. Several sales people walked by but no one asked if we needed assistance. I was so excited about having the opportunity to shop at a Macy’s store but never expected to have such a disorganized experience. I would also suggest placing a bench or chair outside the dressing room so a spouse or elderly parent could sit while the other tried on clothes. I certainly hope this was a rare occurrence and will be remedied because I would love to give your store another try!
