Lee Nails - North Riverside, Illinois 60546 - North Riverside Park Mall

On June 28th I went to Riverside Mall to have a manicure and pedicure at Lee Nails. I paid for a full set of no chip gel nails which only lasted only one day. Apparently, the gel was applied too thinly, the nails literally were popping off left and right within a day; this type of nail service should last two weeks and so I took my case to the manager of Lee Nails. I went back to Lee Nails the next business day the manager refused to give his name and had me speak directly to the nail technician regarding the nail issue. Tina, the nail technician’s remedy was for me to wait until she serviced two client’s pedicures, I agreed. Two hours later, she came back to say that she was taking on an additional client’s nail service, which meant waiting another hour. By this time my patience was waning and again, spoke to the manager and asked him to assign another technician for me or refund my money. He ignored both of my requests and turned his back on me. Later, I found out that the manager’s name was John, this so-called salon manager is unaware of etiquette and basic customer service. I read other reviews on Yelp and it appears manager John has been the central character in other patron’s disputes. Do yourself a favor and avoid Lee Nails at Riverside Mall at all cost!
