Lee Nails - Chicago, Illinois 60652 - Ford City Mall

Rude staff (old man). Nails were completely a mistake.

I never got a chance to share my story regarding this particular establishment. They literally decided to not serve me simply because the nail technician that was doing my nails refuse to serve me because I asked her a question, a question! All I asked was " what is this called?" Next thing I know she stop and said " sorry I cannot serve you" and the manager was ok with that. They're awful. It's not about customer service just about collecting money no matter the service and respect they provide their customers..idk y ppl keep going there...

Ken and my other friend who work in there are the best nail techs hands down. She has red hair and always wears leggings. They are the best !

Against my better judgement, I was at the mall and decided to get a mani-pedi before the big date being New Years 2017. I arrived at 8:10pm and they said we will take the last person at 8:30pm. I signed in being the only 1 on the list waiting. I asked to use the bathroom and she says they don't have one and you have to go to Carsons. Clue #1 I should have taken heed. I come back it's 8:24pm and I'm at the counter looking at colors. The girl and another lady start to talk and she turns to me and says, "we are not taking anymore customers". I'm looking confused and said I was just here and signed in remember? I went to the bathroom. They start talking again then she says, OK what you want? I told her and she responds we can only do 1 service. I said pardon me but I told you what I wanted from the beginning. That's very unprofessional to then make me choose. No other mall does that. They finish out the services they start with. She then says, well we can only do 1. Do you want me to stay until 10pm for you? I'm tired. I said, no I'm not asking you to stay to 10pm but it's unprofessional no matter what. She says she didn't care. I then said, "don't say you don't care because you're business is based on money." That's plain ignorant. As I keep looking she was swaying her head all back and forth this young girl. Personally, I was amused because I guess she thought I was going to get ghetto with her because that's what she is used to. I'm a grown professional black woman. I did proceed to tell every woman of color to be careful where you spend your money. You heard right out of her mouth that she doesn't care about you or your money. See you come over here to this country and you make your money off certain communities. I hope moving forward that anyone who does care about where you spend your money does not patronize this horrible, irrelevant, ghetto, unprofessional, rude, arrogant, little nail shop called Lee Nails. It should be called Lee-ve this place alone nail shop! There are so many other establisomers that are very good to their customers and care about your patronage like Luxury nails and definitely the shops in Chicago Ridge and Orland Park Malls. I do care and that's why I'm writing this review. 12/30/16
