I was taken into the store Lavilier by a very nice lady offering free samples. Then it turned into a very aggressive sale, constantly lowering the price to get me to buy products. They began throwing in free stuff and said it included a free facial too. Repeatedly told me I got a free facial. I bought two products and spent $400. I came for my “facial.” The facial was a complete scam and turned into a nightmare. The man told me he was an Aesthetician. He made me watch a 20 minute video. He only did half my face “so I could see the result” 45 minutes into this only half my face done and he was still droning on and on and on about 50 different products and offering me gifts and deals. I just kept nodding and trying to turn the conversation back to my facial. I told him I would like to finish the facial and then discuss a purchase. Finally he sits down and says this isn’t a facial it’s a consultation. He’s not certified and a facial was not promised it was only a consultation and if I didn’t agree to buy a line of these products (well over $1500) that he would not continue on my face. He also stated he "doesn't work for free for anyone" As I started to argue that this is not what was promised and this was crazy he couldn’t leave my face like this he thew baby wipes at me and left the room. I came out asking for a manager and shaking bc I couldn’t believe what was happening. The man said loudly “I am the manager lady” and I started to speak in a louder voice too as I was starting to get really scared by what was happening. Finally the lady working took me into the other room and finished my face. She did an absolute horrible half job, very quick finish up but at least didn’t pressure me and apologized. But I could tell it was clearly how they do things there. That this was normal salesmanship for them. Idk if their products work or even last but I can tell you it costs thousands, like double digit stuff, and what they promise you get is later revoked or a total lie. This was truly a terrible and scary experience and none of the people working in there blinked an eye about it and probably would have shoved me out the door had there not been other customers in the store.
