Kids World - Lithonia, Georgia 30038 - The Mall at Stonecrest

I always try to support black businesses in my community but this store makes it very difficult to spend my money. There is no fitting room or mirror for kids to try in clothes. I questioned one of the store attendants and she said they did not but said I could go to the back of the store in the corner to try my daughter’s uniforms on. At the register I ask to see the manager who was at the front of the store already who did not greet me while waiting in line. When I informed him that there is a need for a dressing room in an apparel store he looked off in the distance as if he did not care. I told him that my daughter had to go to back of store to try on her uniform ( she did not remove her clothes, merely tried the skirt on top of her existing shorts) he chuckled and said “there you go” as if that was a solution. My husband returned the $80.00 of items 30 minutes later. I will not spend my money there again! I will go to Frenchtoast.com. Horrible place with all the hip hop music, bad customer service, and no dressing room in an apparel store. I taught my daughter a valuable lesson as she saw this whole fiasco. Never spend your money where you are not appreciated.

Ok let me say this. I typically don't write reviews but the treatment I received today was horrible. I walked into the Lithonia Kids World looking for a particular item, I found the suit and they had the 4 way rack signed wrong with a $29.99 on the whole rack so I assumed the item was on sale for that price. I got the register to ask the African sales lady, she walks over to the rack to verify my story, walks back up to the register just to tell me she can't sale it to me because its $49.99. Then an African gentleman walked over and snatched the wrong price off the rack, refuses to sale to me at that price or even give me a discount on it. When I asked for a number to speak to someone higher, I was given the wrong number by the worker. So I called another store and got some information from the worker there who was extremely nice. I will call the store on tomorrow and attempt to speak with a manager or owner to try to get this situation resolved but if they can not satisfy me I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THIS STORE EVER AGAIN!

I would like to see outfits for preteens and i would like to see rip pants and to make the store a better place fornkids to get there swag on
