Don’t ever have them resize your ring ! Sad got a beautiful ring just to get it screwed up !

I have never been so disappointed. I went into the Dartmouth Store on May 11th to have my diamond cleaned found out the setting needed repairs. Instead of fixing the setting we purchased another ring with several diamonds as a new setting. After paying for the ring and service we were told, and I understand this is an estimate, it would be back in the store around the 17th and they would call me. On May 21 we were at the mall and stopped in to check on my ring and was told that the girl who sold us the ring was wrong and that it wouldn’t be in until around the 24th and they would call me. On June 6 I called to inquire again, nope not in. The girl on the phone apologized and told me that she would leave a note for the assistant manager AND the manager and one would get back to me the next day. On June 7 Melanie from Kay Jewelers left a voicemail apologizing for all of the delays with my ring and said they would have it overnighted and it would be in the store today June 8. Well I just got off of the phone with Kay Jewelers and was told that they don’t receive deliveries on Saturday. Wouldn’t the manager know this????? My engagement ring came from Kay’s 32 years ago, our wedding bands 30 years ago anniversary rings and lots of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and gifts for our daughters and daughters-in-law, sadly I think this will now be our last purchase from this chain. I totally understand if they were off by a couple of days on their estimate, but a month? And find a manager who knows what is happening in her store! Poor customer service!
