Journeys - Beaumont, Texas 77706 - Parkdale Mall

I took my daughter in Journey's looking for her some school shoes. She found the shoes, but wanted to check at another store in the mall to see if they were less expensive. The sales clerk told us the shoes were on sale for 49.99. We asked her to place the shoes behind the counter and we would be right back. After walking to another store located on the other side of the mall, their same shoe was 65 00, so I have my daughter the 49.99 and had her to walk back to Journey's to purchase the 49.99 shoes. I was waiting for her return at the entrance of the mall. When she returned, I was informed the shoes were 65.00. I became upset, because we were told the shoes were on sale for 49.99 and she was charged 65.00 for them. I took the receipt and the shoes back to journeys. The sales person who told us Ana sold the shoes to my daughter seen me coming and ran to the back of the store. I approached the manager and she told me those shoes were not on sale, but they had other shoes on sale. I explained her sales person told us it was our lucky day, that the shoes were on sale for 49.99, but the manager still would not give me the sales price we were given. We will never shop at Journey's again and believe me, I have spent a lot of money in that store over the years!
