Journeys Kidz - Knoxville, Tennessee TN 37919 - West Town Mall

I considered whether to even leave this review because I never do, but this particular situation really bothered me. I have worked in customer service for over 6 years and I was treated worst than I think I ever have inside a store. This was by a woman I figured out was a “key holder” manager at The WestTown Mall in Knoxville, TN by the name of Hailey (has septum piercing). Anyways, I am an adult and will admit I was inside the Kidz store because I have a smaller foot and quite frankly, like everyone else, looking for a cheaper shoe. I think this seemed to have bothered Hailey the entire time I was there because asking for her to get me a few different shoes in a few different sizes seemed to be quite the task. One so much an eye roll and attitude came with each shoe I asked for. An overly outgoing and what I would consider overly nice person, myself, I felt almost uncomfortable asking her for help because she seemed to be so unhappy doing so. It honestly not only hurt my feelings, but really made me question why someone who seemed to want no business helping people was in a profession that does just that. Anyways, by the end of it, I just said I’d go to another mall/store where I would be treated more kindly. Got the district managers number and will be calling then tomorrow about this. Just really feel like it’s not okay for this behavior. If I can be nice to people all day long at my job (no matter how frustrating that can be at times), so can everyone else.
