We appreciate the fine clothing at J.A. Banks but found the clerk, Andrew, treated us as though we were stupid, tried to charge us twice for a cashmere sweater and kept on adding extra expenses even when we had refused them 3 times and asked him to remove them! Also we had a birthday coupon for $25 dollars and he only subtracted $10 from the pretax total. He seemed to change his attitude toward my husband when he learned, early in our shopping trip, that my spouse is Mexican. It felt very much like racial profiling, and I have never used that term before. I would appreciate a call from the real manager of the store, as I don’t think it is Andrew even though he claimed to be the manager.
