JERSEY GARDENS DENTAL CENTER - Elizabeth, New Jersey NJ 07201 - The Mills at Jersey Gardens

Went here to save a tooth but instead my dental coverage did not cover it and I would've had to pay out of pocket. My tooth was already loose but the dentist while he was explaining to me put his hands in my face touching my cheek where the tooth was located. It fell out that night while I was asleep. I paid out of pocket for one root canal and the dentist dropped the materials on the front of his jacket and instead of getting new materials he told the assistant it was okay and not needed. My mouth was numb and held open with stints so I couldn't say anything. Another time I was treated for an abscess without any numbing meds and he cut and stitched my gums. Finally I got tired of my insurance telling me I couldn't switch doctors and just paid out of pocket for a wonderful dentist across. It's a really racially biased place and the dentists seem to like putting their patients through pain instead of numbing correctly. STAY AWAY

This place is horrible - they have no sense of scheduling and timing. After giving me a 2:30 appointment a few weeks back, I am still waiting at 4pm. The girl at the front desk says it’s totally normal and a 1.5hr wait is fine as people wait all day at the dentist. Never coming here again - they will always be a 1 Star dental clinic.
