Hollywood Heroes & Villains - North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29582 - Barefoot Landing

While browsing in this store, a young white male employee decided to make it his mission to follow my family around this small store. He stood with his arms folded at the top of every aisle we were on. We decided to leave and not make the purchase we intended.

Rude staff.

What a disgusting interaction my family member had with your employee. Your fool of an employee left a pile of mugs unattended in the floor, no warning markers or anything, while she was in a different area of the store. My sister tripped on a mug and the handle broke off. Luckily, she didn't trip and fall or get cut on broken glass. Because she is honest and a good person, she went and handed the store clerk the mug so nobody else would get hurt. The store clerk began to berate her, telling her she had to pay for the mug (clearly trying to pass the blame onto the customer for her negligence, that could have led to a customer getting hurt!) When she refused, the lady threatened security, then kicked them out of the store. She is on the autistic spectrum. These kinds of interactions terrify her. She was shaking and cried after she left. She left barefoot landing because she was so shaken up. Worst part is, she had planned on spending $ on a few items there before your horrible employee behaved so negligently. #1 - train your employees better customer interaction (esp people with special needs) #2 -don't leave glass in the floor unmarked (risky for your business getting sued by an injured customer).
