Gyros Plus - Colorado Springs, Colorado 80920 - Chapel Hills Mall

This business ripped me off by adding another $1.00 to my debit card as a tip that I did not authorize after I had left with my meal. I am a new customer and have just started to patronize this business once a week for the last 3 weeks. It absolutely amazes me that a business would do something like this and risk losing a brand new customer for a ($1.00) dollar. I have talked with the business and they said it will be corrected. This was not an accident, it was intentional, I know exactly how POS systems work since I owned my own business and this was not an accident. My total on my ticket when I signed it was $11.70 and the "tip" portion of the ticket was left blank. They then added $1.00 to the "tip" line to total $12.70. I am in my 60's and have never had this happen to me in my life. They probably think people won't notice and may have done this to many other people. If this is not corrected immediately, I will be calling their merchant services and filing a complaint. They will never receive any business from me again. As I am writing this review someone from the business called to try to explain that this was a mistake on their part but when I explained that I knew exactly how POS systems work and that this was intentional the person who was speaking with me by the name of "Ameen" then proceeded to abuse me on the phone calling me an "asshole" multiple times instead of just correcting the problem and letting it go. I will also be contacting the Chapel Hills Mall to file a formal complaint.
