Before doing this review I am going to take partial responsibility for letting somone take advantage of me. I called Goldrush The other morning inquiring what they were paying for scrap silver and was quoted 15 dollars an ounce. My first mistake was taking too much silver with me without my inventory sheet. I was high pressured and had two coins snatched from my hand that I stated I wasnt selling. Instead of weighing my merchandise in front of me it was taken in the back about 30 coins and some silver bars. I am disabled and have to rely on a power wheelchair and was stuck where I was. After a very long wait and other customers coming in the guy comes back with two trays with prices written on them. The price on one tray was laughable I sold one coin from that lot that evening for very close to what he offered on the whole tray. I was tired and have problems with my legs swelling and took the offer on the second tray as it wasnt much in the way of collectable just to get out of there but after coming home and doing a thorough inventory I found I wasnt payed $15 per ounce. In a perfect world respectable business's would never think of taking advantage of a disabled senior citizen nor would anyone else but it isnt a perfect world and many try, especially when money is involved. I am short forming this to save time but a lot of high pressure to sell and a lot of downtalking to someone who has dealt with precious metals 38 years. Note to consumers. Any business buying precious metals or diamonds should post what they are paying on their front door each day and yes the prices usually change daily. They should weigh and inspect your property in clear view of you. They should give you a receipt of what you sold and what was paid, I didnt get one. If any business fails any of these things you are being lowballed. No I havent called them or been back nor shall I he knows what he did and was trying to do and now so does whoever reads this.
