Dunkin' Donuts - Peoria, Illinois 61615 - The Shoppes at Grand Prairie

I DO NOT recommend this Dunkin Donut to ANYONE. When I made my order I held out a coupon and told the girl that I wanted a medium french vanilla iced coffee with cream and sugar and two chocolate long johns. So, I asked the girl before she got the cup for my Iced Coffee if I could show her how much ice I wanted. Instead, she holds up the cup and says this much, and I said no. Then she asked if I wanted less, and I said could I just see the cup so I can show you. She passes the cup to someone else to make my iced coffee. Now she goes to review how I wanted my iced coffee. I repeated it, and she said oh I thought you didn't want cream. Next, I asked if I could get a free donut with another coupon I had on my phone with this order. Well all the owner heard was a "free donut." The owner kept telling me I asked for a "free donut" , as if I was trying to get over. For some reason he couldn't understand that I wasn't trying to get an extra donut off of the original coupon. Quite frankly the cashier had already gotten the first part of my order wrong, and I had to ask for the two chocolate long johns a second time. She tries to tell me I didn't say that, surely I said it when I gave her the coupon in the beginning. Now she sends back for someone to bring the two chocolate long johns. It was quite insulting to think that this owner was accusing me of trying to get an extra donut/long john off of the original coupon. Further he kept pointing and insisting that I asked for a "free donut" , and wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I asked to speak to someone else, because I was trying to get my point across that he clearly misunderstood. But all he could say was that he was the owner. And I say well you need to train your employees how to take an order correctly, as well as teach yourself how to listen to what your customer is saying. My biggest issue is that I was accused of something based on another person's lack of understanding and the ability to listen to others. Signed Insulted and Unjustified
