Last night I went into crocs with my two year old and 4 month old. I asked for a size 7 traditional pair of crocs. The sale associate handed me a navy blue pair which was just what we wanted: how did she know? We bought the pair on the spot and my 2 year old took a few steps then I put him back in his stroller. We stop for a bite to eat on the way home and I noticed that the bottom of his shoes were very dirty and even had pieces of the rubber worn down. They had sold me a used pair of shoes! So I immediately called them and I explained the situation to the woman on the phone and how my son didn't make them dirty since he only took a few steps out of the store and then went back in his stroller. She proceeded to tell me that I couldn't return them because they dont take back shoes that have been worn! Seriously, then why did you take these ones back and then resell them to me? I finally got to speak to a manager, Melissa and she was more reasonable and said: bring them back and we will exchange them for a new pair. So ok, pretty inconvenient for me, but I understand mistakes happen. Well I haul my two year old and 4 month old back to the store the next day only to be told that they dont have anymore in stock, so I will have to come back a 3rd time. Seriously? I explained to the "manager" who came out to speak with me about the entire situation and how this was an error on their part and they should do something to make it right, like maybe just mailing me a pair so I dont have to come back again, or perhaps some sort of in store credit. But no! Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Crocs again.
