Stick with a dealership
Waited over 3 weeks to have a car shipped to local CarMax and made available to begin discussing purchasing. CarMax marks their cars up about $4000 over NADA - the metrics which most banks use to determine loan value. Had to walk away from the deal. If you are desperate for a car, you can get financed pretty easy ( more than double the finance rate of a credit union), but know that they are sticking it to you with the inflated value as well as ridiculous financing rates (10.99% vs 4.99%)!
