Books-A-Million - Katy, Texas TX 77494 - Katy Mills

Co-manager Ariana is clueless, extremely condescending and very standoffish. I made purchases at this store worth over $220 as Christmas presents for my family...1. The prices at books-a-million are not competitive at all and after my purchase found better deals at Barnes and Noble, so; I made purchases of the same from B &N and went to return said items back to Books-a-million. 2. When I got there, the cashier processed my return and said that she'd have to keep my original receipt because items returned were over $100..what???? I've never heard of anything like this as I still had other items on there. I told them they could make a copy of the receipt and give me my receipt back - the so called co-manager claimed they had no copier ?. Mind you I'm a "member". I asked her if they were able to pull the information from my membership record and print it, she said no, they didn't have a printer and didn't know if that was even an option - clueless Ariana!!!. 3. When pressed about how I would process any other returns should I need to, clueless Ariana shrugs her shoulders again..."I dont know do you need to return any other item?".. what she's saying at all this time doesn't even make sense to her..she looks at me lost unsure what else to say. Barnes and Noble 100 times over books-a-million!!
