Best Buy - Danvers, Massachusetts MA 01923 - Liberty Tree Mall

Order a MacBook Pro from Best Buy online. Get confirmation. Pay for it. Says will be ready in an hour. An hour later, I am in the Denvers Best Buy. Girl behind the counter looks it up. Then goes looking for it. Long story short: ANOTHER hour goes by and am told it is on a truck.. from Thursday. TWO people are looking for it. A half hour later, a manger says the same, blaming COVID, employees on furlough, etc. despite my counting 14 (!) employees wandering about. 

I ask why a truck was still not unloaded since Thursday with advertised products. He then says truck WAS unloaded. Who was telling the truth? No one knows. Trying to be patient, ANOTHER half hour goes by. Finally they tell me the MacBook Pro was sold within the hour. How is it possible that an item -a $2,000 item, no less - I paid for an hour before was sold AFTER I bought it? Nonsense. Regardless, they quickly cancel my order as an afterthought, telling the to go this store, that store, etc. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will ever go back to this store again. Why would I go to ANOTHER Best Buy when they colossally screwed up? Within 20 minutes, I was at the APPLE store in Lynnfield. Within 30 minutes, I had bought the Item and was on my way. SIDENOTE: while I was waiting, an employee named Brian, who reeked of toxic energy, YELLS at another employee that he was ‘talking over someone’ when he really wasn’t. Why personnel matters are on a sales floor is questionable. This made me uneasy and wanted to leave on principal if this is the caliber of employee Best Buy has. 
For these reasons, I am out. I am done with Best Buy.

Don't get me wrong, best Buy has all the electronics that you could ever need! But there are some down sides. I got a computer there and spent a lot of money on it. The woman who was selling it to me said to me that it was 1 Terabyte, but a few weeks later, it says I was running low on space and I checked and it only has 250ish Gigabytes, I do think that this is not acceptable and it coasted me a extra $100 to get the one I wanted, and personally, I think I should have gotten it free because that is unacceptable.
