Manager was horrible!! My mother, grandmother, and I went to the store with the intention of purchasing their “moo-moo” dress. We were not greeted as we came in, at this time we were the ONLY people in the store. At the cash register, when my mother asked for the price of something.. she proceed to rudly pointed to the sign. Second, my mother asked where was a certain dress, and once she asked the size she told her a small.

On Black Friday I bought some items for me and someone else. Few days later the other person asked me if I could exchange some of the items for a bigger size and a shirt for a different price, in Austin 5, you have 14 days to exchange your items as long as you have proof of payment and the item is not damaged; well I was able to exchange the other person's item, even though I received attitude from the lady manager. Later that night I noticed that I needed to exchange my clothes. Today, Day 14, I went to exchange my items with proof of purchase and the same lady manager gave me horrible customer service, told me that I should have had the clothes in a bag and that she wouldn't take them because it wasn't in a bag and it had a few pieces of hair on it. She cut me off multiple times when I referred to her companies policy. I asked to speak to her boss, and she stated "I am the manager, my boss is not here." She told me many many times that what I was doing was not right and that nobody would want to buy the clothes, because they were used and she was not gon take it back. At this point, she had the items in her possession so I told her to either give me my money back or exchange the item for a bigger size, referring back to her 14 day exchange policy, as long as you have proof of purchase and the items are not damaged; last I checked hair is not damage, its hair we ALL have it. She told me she wasn't going to do either, so I walked away to calm down for a second and look around for a bit. When I returned to the cash register the manager said, my boss won't take it because of the hair. Once again I asked to speak with her boss; I heard a voice coming from the back speaking with the woman manager. I stated to her, I would like to speak with your boss, and why did you state that he wasn't here when I clearly hear him. The lady manager stated, well yoy are going to have to wait and he is just going to tell you the same thing I told you and I know the rules, right is right. I let her know that I have worked retail for years so I am very aware of how you can exchange something and what stores accept back. Approximately 10 minutes later, the tall male manager came out and I began to tell him my issue and their store exchange policy, he told me that they would not exchange it because it has hair, and can't resell it. I once again referred to his store's exchange policy stating that the clothing is not damaged and only haw hair; this manager began to tell me its common sense so they didn't have to put it in the policy. During the time I was speaking with the male manager, the lady manger decided it was appropriate to rudely jump into the conversation and put her input in. I said, " excuse me, but I am not talking to you. I am speaking with your boss, remember the one that you told me wasn't here." I continued going back and forth with the male manager referring back to the store's exchange policy and pointing at it as well. The male manager decided to ask me well how am I supposed to resell this, and what am I supposed to do with this. I explained that wasn't my problem and either give me an exchange or my money back. The male manager finally decided to pick up the exchange policy off of the counter and read it thoroughly and decided to give me an exchange, after about 30 minutes of speaking with him. He told the lady manager to change the policy to include new, clean clothes. I was really offended by this, the clothes were washed just before I went to return them. Also the lady manager, decided that she was going to tell me that next time dont bring the clothes unless it has a bag. I really do love the clothes at Austin 5 and the prices, but the customer service and management that I experienced today was just horrible. I have never ever seen such disrespectful people from beginning to end.
