My experience at AT&T at Destiny USA by ,
I have been a loyal AT&T customer since the company was known as Cingular. Pretty much haven’t had a problem with them. Today, 05/15/2021, I purchased a brand new Samsung phone for my daughter. I asked for the full price of phone purchase it outright. I left my daughter with my credit card to run to the mall’s facilities down the hall. When I came back, she was done, standing outside the store. I looked at my receipt to see how much I was charged. I was only charged the low “first time” phone price. When I turned to go back to the store to pay the rest, I was met by the long sleeve, blue shirt female (manager(?)) that saw the entire transaction that took place with a regular floor worker. She met us at the door and asked how she could help. I stated that I wasn’t charged the full price of the phone. She proceeded to say that “we don’t charge the full price in the door. You will have to wait for a month after a full billing cycle has gone through. Call customer service and someone should be able to help then”. This struck me as being wrong as she was saying it. I left and proceeded to dial *611. The remaining balance of the phone was paid off in less than 7 minutes after the customer service personal stated that the store’s computer is the same exact system as hers. So, basically, this problem could have been taken care of at the store. I also wanted to purchase the latest Apple Watch. But I see it’s better to purchase online. It’s because of service like this that more people are starting to cut out the middle man when purchasing vehicles online. Bye bye to brick and mortar. Too bad Ralph or the female with the one long braid down her back was not there. They were always helpful.
