Horrible Customer Service By Manager by ,
Poor customer service. An associate miscommuncated the trade transaction when AT&T had the switcher promotion until the end of March 2018. The associate claimed that AT&T would cover the remaining balance of what I owed at Verizon Wireless. Part of what I owed would come in the form of a gift card which was the value of my device ($300 Samsung Galaxy S8+). The remaining balance which was $150 with Verizon would be in store credit. The switcher program promised to cover what bill remained at your old network AS WELL AS what your device was valued at. My bill was $450. So that means I expected a $300 gift card and the $150 would be in store credit. The $150 which I would have to use at an AT&T store I would just pay to Verizon myself. So, the associate and the manager allowed me to trade in my phone. The gift card I received a few months later was $190. Supposedly the deal was that the device trade in was actually $265 and $75 of that was store credit and was not included in the gift card. I had gotten a wireless charger and two screen protectors with my in store credit which was at the time of the trade in was thought to be $150 out of the $450 I owed Verizon. So they miscommunicated that I would get a $300 gift card. They didn’t say that $110 was in store credit from that $300. I was made to think that $150 or the in store credit was the remainder of the bill I owed at Verizon. I called to get an explanation and came to the conclusion that the associate had miscommunicated what the actual numbers or how they would be divided into would actually be. All I got was a sorry my associate miscommunicated but you got what you were supposed to get. Honestly, no I did not because the supposedly $300 was not supposed to be $265 AND your associate lied to me lol. Sorry and lack of honest communication does not pay the remainder of my Verizon bill. Idk why they would say the value of my phone was $300 then later say, “Oh it was actually $265.” after it had already been traded in! Lol. This place and the people that work here are a joke. They’re okay with their associates making mistakes and costing honest people money. Stop with the scams. The manager said don’t bring up what my associate said it’s about what I said to you. Okay, so I was not supposed to trust your associate? Lol. I should’ve thought that he was lying to me the entire time? Right, like I knew that. Terrible customer service by the manager. At the time of the sale the associate was helpful but geez the manager did not try to help whatsoever. Your associate made a mistake that cost me money, and you say don’t trust his words trust mine. Also we can’t do anything about it even though my associate made a mistake. Umm sounds like someone needs to retrain their associates and themselves.
