A Silver Shack - North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29582 - Barefoot Landing

Rude saleslady. I came in wait g while she was helping g another customer. After 5 minutes another customer came in and she offered to help them. Clearly she was ignoring me. Too bad for her. No sale.

I love to shop at A Silver Shack each year on Vacation, I always buy multiple pieces this year I purchased 5 different pieces 2 for Gifts and 3 for myself. All the pieces I have purchased in the past years, have held up Great and I wear some of the Pieces daily. Looking forward to next years Vacation.

I thought this was such a cute store at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach. Found a cute bracelet with sea glass and it was only $15. They had the bracelets with both a cuff type and hook type closures. I specifically asked the woman who was helping me if the hook type stayed closed, as I was afraid it would fall off. She said it definitely would, and the hook types look better. So I purchased the hook type. The next day I saw that it was unhooked and just hanging on my wrist. I hooked it again, thinking it was just a weird, one-time thing, since the woman at store said they don't do that. We left to go home to Ga on the following morning and on the drive I looked down and the bracelet was no longer on my wrist. We searched the car and called the condo owners and they said they searched everywhere as well. No bracelet. I called today and explained the situation and how much I loved the bracelet and asked for a replacement with the cuff closure type. She said no, I had "used it." Obviously I cannot make her send me a new bracelet, but it is the right thing to do and it's good customer service. It's only $15, but I really liked it and had asked specifically about the closure reliability. Any business who wants to have good customer relations would replace the bracelet. A good reputation is worth more than $15. So my advice is DO NOT make a purchase at the Silver Shack in Barefoot landing n. Myrtle Beach. They are not honest and do not standby flawed merchandise.
